Why Mineral Basics Minerals and Not
another
Mineral Brand?
There are
many different brands of mineral makeup. Some companies
charge exorbitant prices for their fancy labeling and
supposedly higher quality product.
Most of these companies actually include a nasty little
non-essential ingredient
called bismuth oxychloride,
which irritates bare skin and causes many people to break
out.
They include it, however, to give their products a creamier
feel
...this is just to fool you into thinking their products
are somehow superior to others.
Not the case. AND customer service is
usually...lacking.
However,
with these larger, high-end companies,
you are assured of consistency in color batches
and that the company will be around for a while.
On the
opposite end of the spectrum, there are other mineral
companies
that are actually people purchasing their products
pre-mixed
and filling the jars in their kitchens...
They have no control over the actual powders containing
non-essential ingredients
and who knows how long they will be around for you to
continue buying from!
Who wants to go to all the trouble to find their perfect
colors,
only to realize the company has gone out of business!
However, these people usually provide a high level of
personal customer service.
And then
there are many companies in the middle...
some have very chalky foundations that look like a mask,
some include unnatural ingredients,
some have terrible customer service,
some have VERY inconsistent colors...
you never know if your foundation will be the same from
batch to batch!
Some take WEEKS to ship items,
or require you to join a club and receive makeup even if
you don't need it!
And of course, you must PAY for this extra makeup!!
